She has a long history of volunteering in the USA with Children’s Cancer Association, Sisters of the Road, Central City Concern, and in Romania, where she has volunteered with the National Institute of Neurology and Neurovascular Diseases in Bucharest. As a human being, she is socially proactive, fun, loving, highly independent, sometimes stubborn, intuitive with a wild imagination, and she speaks cat-neze 🙂
Meditation to me is leisure time, if it’s not leisure, it’s not meditation. Meditation doesn’t involve hard work or despair for an outcome. It brings joy, not frustration. Meditation is a process that each and every one of us is to engage in slowly and at ease, playfully even, as to be able to get through the blocked energies that need to be dissolved and released when it happens and it will.
In my classes, I combine meditation with talking and sharing. It’s like a community of friends that really enjoy their time together. That is why I recommend we work in groups of up to 10 people to make it a fun experience where you would always want to come back for more. We start with an informal chat and we move forward in deciding together based on the moment what meditation we will engage in for the session. We end the session with another short chat in which participants may if they choose to, share some impressions from the class.
So, come along and bring your friends with you!
